You are the Homonculus. The Alchemist created you and placed you in the labyrinth for a higher purpose, a role to fulfil. You’ll have to wander the labyrinth, but you won’t be alone there. Humans, loyal to The Alchemist, live in the labyrinth - and they’ll all want things from you.

Place blocks to form responses to the humans’ statements. Every human will want something different from you. If you do not provide, they will act violently. Tailor your responses to their desires and become what they want you to be to get by - though that will mean leaving a part of yourself behind.

There's a cool concept somewhere in this game, unfortunately the mechanics are so poorly communicated to the player, that the game quickly turns frustrating instead of interesting. Overall polish leaves a lot to be desired, the pixelization effect makes it hard to discern anything in the enviroment, mouse look sensitivity is through the roof, with no option to turn it down and fonts are barely legible. Combat is very clunky, which might have been a deliberate choice, but I can't really tell.

I respect the small file size though.


Please keep refining this game. I think you're onto something with the concept and I'd love to see it realised to its full potential.

This game is complete and will not be developed any further. I am very pleased with how it turned out but understand it isn’t something everyone will like.
